UFO DOOM: Unknown Enemy is a mod for Doom II, created by LAKTUL.

Opis:

This is a Standalone-Release for the Campagne of UFO: Unknown Enemy. It

contains all required files needed to play the MOD and was tested on

Windows 7 64-bit.

For any kind of feetback like reporting bugs, comments, suggestions, just

empty words in general or if you are looking for the MapModulPack or newer

~~ Inspiration ~~

This MOD was inspired by the first "UFO: Enemy Unknown" (or

"X-COM: UFO-Defence" in North America) from 1994 by Mythos Games and

MicroProse Software.

The MapModules and the campagne are seperated and none of it depents on each

other. If you are a pure mapper, you can ignore the campagne and only download

the MapModules. If you are not interessted in mapping and only what to play a

single-player or coop-game do it the other way around.

~~ Coop-Game ~~

Also 4-player coop was planned and parts of the maps are prepared for this

(example: 4 spawn area) it was not tested or optimised.

~~ Technical Hints ~~

If you are using doom2.wad as iwad many textures of the UFODoom-MapModule

will not be displayed and instate be replace by original textures of Doom 2.

Please use freedoom2.wad (Freedoom Phase 2) to fix this issue.

Instructions:

It’s a standalone release. Just extract and launch „Start UFODoom.bat:
