Oblivion is a mod for Duke Nukem 3D: Atomic Edition, created by Cedric Lutes.

Description:

This is not dukenukem this time as the player "HERO". Its an anthro-Fossa {cryptoprocta ferox} A cat-like predator from madagascar. The player is a young fossa Named Zaxtor His world is threaten by a war called the OBLIVION WAR. These aliens, Robots and strange creature Plan to destroy earth, Zaxtor must pass through Mountains, Dry forest, Rain forest, Bases, Battlefield, Temple and the final base.. His mission is to Destroy the MOTHERBRAIN.. Zaxtor's back, Now this time hes going in space to find the Evil emperor he must pass a very dangerous space war, many ships etc. First Zaxtor want to destroy the Organic alien ship that wrecked his starship, many cities was destroyed by a mysterious tank-like vehicle known as the weapon artillery, so he must find out what is this mysterious thing.

If you see anything that look dangerous or suspicious SAVE!!! Its important you explore some nonbase levels to find keys and some base level to find switches. Note doors with symbols above it means only the switch with the same symbols or similar would open it. PS to hear better what some characters that talk to you, Is recommended that you drop the music volume keep the soun

This is an huge TC with 50+ levels + 5 secret and others.

Instructions:

Note this TC requires to work properly

1. Eduke32 (included)

2. fast computer maybe above 1 GHZ intel pentium

3. It runs faster in window mode

4. If you want good quality music/midi, Select the General Midi

5. Lots of RAM or DDRAM also help make your machine faster

6. files like exe file to make it work comes with it, dont enter exe file enter oblivion.bat file

Note that this Total Conversion is a standalone mod; Duke3D is not needed.

IMPORTANT!!! To avoid running into problems, it's recommended that since this is a standalone

mod, you unzip everything into an empty directory. You may want to import duke3d.cfg and eduke32.cfg

from your old Duke3D installation folder in case you wish to keep your old configuration.

CAUTION!!! This TC will not work without Eduke32 port (included in the zip).

To run click Oblivion.bat. EDuke32.exe works only if you have a duke3d.grp file in your

Oblivion directory but even then EDuke32.exe launches Duke3D, not Oblivion TC.

1. Note this will NOT work with Cduke3d it will crash right away..

2. If you enter it by setup or setmain its con files will not work properly

3. with Eduke32 It will run cleaner, faster and better.
