Jagged Alliance 3 - Game Mod - QoL Enhancements v.0.2.4 - Download

QoL Enhancements is a mod for Jagged Alliance 3, created by Palich.

Description:

Mod adjusts multiple game aspects like items stack sizes and crafting in order to provide more comfortable gameplay. General approach to all the changes it to make them as subtle and compatible as possible, so that it will enhance not break.

CHANGES:

Scrapping for all types of knifes

Bulk (x10) scrapping for regular ammo and all 12 gauge shots that complements with Ammo and Explosive Disassembly (NOTE: recipe uses crowbar instead of wire cutter).

Increased Max Stack size for the following (functionally similar to AMMO better icons and stack ENG and PL?, but does not replace the whole item stats definition to increase MaxStack value):

1. ?All Ammo to 9999
2. ?Meds and Parts to 999
3. ?Diamonds, chipped sapphire, gold bar and money bag to 100

Crafting (available in Explosives crafting operation)

1. Rebalances armor scraping and adds armor crafting recipes.
2. Adds crafting recipes to weapon mod resources, knifes, machete, consumables (crowbar, lockpick, wire cutter), flare sticks and armor mods.
3. Adds crafting recipes for both small and large med kits.
4. Adds crafting recipe for black powder (now you won't run dry of ammo).
5. Adds crafting recipes for TNT, C4 and detonators.
6. Adds disassembling recipes via combo menu for TNT, C4 and detonators.

Weapon blueprinting and crafting (game engine does not seem to work well with weapons crafting, so this is a workaround)

1. Adds blueprint misc item for all common weapons in the game. Blueprints do not stack, but can be stored in squad backpack and scrapped for 1 scrap.
2. Adds ability to get a blueprint of all regular weapons by combining with a lockpick and having necessary Mechanical skill (NOTE: weapon mods will be stripped due to game engine limitation!)
3. Adds ability to craft all blueprints via Explosives craft operation for 1 scrap.

Gameplay changes:

1. Civilians now will run for 10 tiles away from a gunfight instead of 5 (now I understand why civilians acted like they have a deathwish)
2. Dead bodies in sector will be removed in 14 days instead of 2. Cosmetic only change.
3. Sat time flow speed is halved. It does not affect any game mechanics, just time won't fly by once you unpause in sat view (not yet tested, requires new game)
4. Max hire mercs increased from 15 to 18, so you can have 3 full squads (no idea why it was 2.5 squads in a first place)

how to install:

1. extract the archive into folder into %AppData%\Jagged Alliance 3\Mods

2. enable the mod in the in-game mod manager.

3. restart the game.
