Left 4 Dead Reborn is a mod for Left 4 Dead, created by Slayer2.

Description:

Left 4 Dead Reborn is focused on bringing a more realistic and intense experience to Left 4 Dead. Currently version 1 is a simple config file, although it's changes shouldn't be dismissed easily. Only the most hardcore players will be able to survive a campaign on Advanced or Expert. Even on easier difficulties, this mod provides a greater challenge than standard Left 4 Dead. A full feature list is below.

FEATURE LIST:

-A simplified HUD only shows your inventory and crosshair, as well as the occasional hint/tip (if you have them enabled). To see your health, or the health of your

team, you must use the score-board.

-No more silhouette glows for survivors, to find team-mates or items, you'll have to look carefully.

-Common Infected have one fifth the health, but there are 3-5 times more of them scattered around and in hordes.

-Friendly fire damage set to 5 times in ALL difficulties, don't expect to save a team-mate from a hunter with a close-range blast from a shotgun!

-Fire does twice the damage in ALL difficulties, avoid it at all costs, or pay the price.

-It takes 3 times as long to revive a downed survivor (15 seconds).

-Survivors limp at 20 health instead of 40, but they walk far slower.

-Pills now give survivors 100 temporary health.

-The mounted minigun does far more damage and overheats far slower.

-The Tank has half the health, it's no longer quite as bullet-proof.

-The Witch has half the health, moves faster, gets angrier far easier, and deals 10 times more damage to downed survivors.

-The Hunter has halved health, but deals 5 times more damage.

FINAL NOTES:

Left 4 Dead Reborn will work perfectly with multiplayer co-op, but only if you host your own DEDICATED server. I believe this costs money, so I doubt many people will

be able to do this. Currently, there is no Versus support, but this may change, if requested.
