DOS2WIN is a mod for SimCity 2000, created by Patrxgt

Description:

This patch will convert your GOG/Origin DOS release of SimCity 2000 Special Edition into the Windows 95 release, making for a much more comfortable experience on modern PCs.

Installation:

1. Copy all of the files from the archive into the main game's folder (NOT THE ONE WITH DOSBOX!!!).

2. Open "Patch.bat" with a text editor and change "*" to the path to your game's main folder in the line, that starts with "mklink" and save the file.

3. Run "Patch.bat" and wait until the new windows pops up.

4. When the new window asks you where is the "SIMCITY.EXE" file, just type ".\SC2K" (WITHOUT QUOTATION MARKS!!!).

5. For the next questions, just follow the on-screen instructions and let it do it's thing, until the window disaprears.

6. Make a shortcut of a "SC2000X.EXE" file located in the SC2K folder, so you can access the game from the desktop.
