widescreen and resolution patch to fix issues on modern PC especially with resolutions higher than 1920x1080. After almost 16 (!!) years we have finally defeated the famous "Texture or surface size is too big (esurface.cpp, 129)" error!
Installation
Download zip from and unpack the files inside next to the Soldiers.exe
Set the following properties (important)
NOTE: if you don't set `Disable fullscreen optimizations` you will get this error
