Description:

G.A.M.M.A. stands for Grok's Automated Modular Modpack for Anomaly.

G.A.M.M.A. aims at providing a balanced survival, scavenging, cooking, crafting and repairing focused experience with a long progression and smooth gameplay.

The main motivation behind this project is to provide an easy to install, automatically updated and modular modding platform for Stalker Anomaly, with base parameters and gameplay mechanics setup to create a meaningful and enjoyable sense of progression.

This modpack is 100% copyright free since it redistributes little to no copyrighted content developed by other modders. Indeed, G.A.M.M.A. downloads every add-on directly from moddb or github, and installs them automatically. You will thus directly support modders by installing G.A.M.M.A. On top of this, each addon original source (moddb or github page) is directly accessible from the Mod Organizer 2 instance by right-clicking addons > visit moddb.com.

Many addons are developped exclusively for this project, including:

1. A new UI.
2. A rebalanced survival experience focused on crafting, repairing and cooking.
3. A new economy where traders will only sell you supplies, and where good ammunition will only be available to trustful stalkers.
4. New starting loadouts focused on providing pistols, SMGs or WW2 guns to have a smoother start with calibers for which you can buy ammo. It also gives you the basic tools to wander the Zone, which is nice for Ironman runs.
5. Rebalanced close quarter combat to make knives more useful and to free even more inventory slots, yup you can equip 2 pistols and 2 main weapons and still profit from your best knife with a reworked quick melee motion and system.
6. Rebalanced actor damage.
7. Rebalanced sleep.
8. Rebalanced Skill System from Haruka.
9. Overhauled radiations effects and dynamic radiation areas.
10. Many fixes for some major addons including the Boomsticks and Sharpsticks gunpack.

Instructions:

Remember to use 7Zip. Winrar might causa errors!

1.Download S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly and extract it’s archive using 7Zip (not winrar) into c:\ (or different drive if that’s your main one, if so modify the following instructions accordingly). So it should be C:\Anomaly

Launch Anomaly ONCE and reach the in-game menu. Then, exit the game.

2 Then download GAMMA and also extract it to C:’

3. At this point you will end up with two folders:

C:\Anomaly

C:\GAMMA

Add those Anomaly and G.A.M.M.A. folders to the Windows Defender exclusions and disable real-time protection temporarily. (sometimes the Windows Defender can even can delete some files from the mods, so if that happens extract those archives again after adding the exceptions).

Add both those folders as exceptions in Windows Defender.

BEFORE YOU ASK OR PANIC, WE KNOW that the launcher contain a "virus", we have a reason for it: Windows Defender DOES throw a fit when you have stuff without a signature in your computer and this is exactly the case, the launcher doesn't have a digital signature and for obvious reasons, your antivirus believes that you have a virus. Needless to say, you do not have a virus, the launcher doesn't have a virus inside of it and we are not going after your crypto nor your bank account. Up to you if you want believe it or not, we can't and probably won't fix this issue because yes, it's obviously about money and it's not worth the hassle. Archive VirusTotal analysis - It shows that all but one antivirus shows that the launcher is clean. = = = YOU MUST BE UNBLOCKED ON MODDB.COM TO PROCEED = = = If you are blocked, read the message to see how long the block will be. Wait for that amount of time and 40 min more, then proceed with

5. Now go to “C:\GAMMA\.Grok's Modpack Installer\” right click and "Launch as Admin" on the G.A.M.M.A. Launcher.exe and click the "First Install Initialization" button.

6. An error should pop up stating "Cannot open instance "portable"(...)." Hit OK. A new window will pop up asking you to browse for an instance. Browse to the Anomaly folder on the C:/ drive and select the folder itself. MO2 will pop up after. It should have 0 mods and be on the Default profile.

7. Close MO2 and go back to the launcher. Make sure the first 4 boxes are checked. Hit the “Install / Update” button and let it run its course. The first install can get you flagged as a bot by Moddb. Visit http://www.moddb.com/ to verify it. If you are flagged during or after the installation, either wait 2 hours or use a VPN, then click "Install/Update" again.

8. When it's done, hit the play button and MO2 will launch.

9. MO2 should launch with the correct number of mods (???380-mods-in-mo2), with nothing in the Flags column, sorted by Priority. (the pic below is an example, the mods number will change in the future) If this is true, then hit Run. The Anomaly launcher should show again. Hit play. The GAMMA splash screen should appear and then you should see the main menu. (edytowane)

Anomaly Launcher will open, click „Play S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly”

At this point you should be able to traverse the Zone. If everything is up and running and you are able to play S.T.A.L.K.E.R. GAMMA with no issues; head over to the ??start-confirm channel and click the to gain full access to the server! (This is ONLY for people who have the Newcomer role or people who just joined the server and haven't done anything yet) Also, in case you turned off your antivirus and/or your firewall, remember to turn them back on again!
