Description:

This mod adds a set of new spells that even the Sages fear! These spells allow Spellcasters to spread pain and misery for their own benefit or just their amusement.

These spells all belong to the Untamed school of magic. Spellcasters need to be rank 4 (Master) in order to learn them, but not all of the regular methods will work. The Sages have tried to keep these spells a secret and won?t teach them to your Sims, nor will your Sims be able to discover these through normal practice. Some collectors may still have the old tomes and could be willing to part with them for a high price. Inflicting pain on others by winning a duel may also allow your Sim to discover these dark spells.

This mod requires the Spellbook Injector mod by r3m in order to show up in game.

Spells and Outcomes

Note: For all spells listed here, Sims with the Good trait will get a +5 Sad moodlet for 7 hours upon successfully casting it.

1. Ennervate

Siphon the vitality of another Sim to restore your own energy.

Note: This spell generates more charge than normal! (80 points instead of the standard 40).

Standard Success -

The target Sim loses 150 points of Energy and becomes Dazed +10 for 6 hours, while your Sim gains 75 points of Energy and becomes Energized +3 for 3 hours.

Charged Success -

Same as above but your Sim gains 150 points of Energy instead.

Failure -

Your Sim loses 150 points of Energy and becomes Dazed +10 for 6 hours.

1. Melliferate (requires Seasons)

Summon a swarm of angry bees to attack another Sim.

Standard Success -

Your Sim will send off a swarm of angry bees to attack the target Sim and laugh. The target Sim will become Uncomfortable +2 for 2 hours.

Charged Success -

In addition to the above, your Sim will also receive honey in their inventory.

Failure -

Your Sim will be attacked by bees instead.

1. Miasma (requires Get to Work)

Inflict sickness and malady on another Sim.

Standard Success -

The target Sim becomes Uncomfortable +10 for 30 minutes before developing a sickness.

Charged Success -

Same as above, but the sickness is guaranteed to be more severe and the target Sim a 50% chance of developing Triple Threat, a particularly nasty illness.

Failure -

Your Sim becomes sick instead.

1. Grim Bargain

Draw on your own life-force to replenish their needs, but at what cost? (Save early and save often)

Note: This spell generates more charge than normal! (80 points instead of the standard 40).

Note: While Teens are able to learn this spell for later, only Young Adults and older are able to cast it.

Standard Success -

All of your Sim's needs are instantly filled, but there will be consequences. See spoilers below if you need to know what will happen to your Sims.

Charged Success -

Same results as standard.

Failure -

All of your Sim's needs are lowered to -30.

Addon - Brute Force Duel Options

This is not a spell but an addon that will help your Sims learn the spells in this mod. If a Sim knows every spell from the unmodded game, they will ordinarily be locked out of "Duels for Knowledge" with other Sims. Since dueling is one of the more reliable ways of learning these spells, that can be pretty inconvenient. This addon makes it so your Sims can still duel at least until they learn all the Forbidden Spells.

Requirements

This mod requires the Spellbook Injector mod by r3m and the Realm of Magic game pack.

Instructions:

HOW TO INSTALL THE SIMS 4 MODS?

1. First, you need to enable support for mods in The Sims 4. To do this, start the game, go to the "game options", and then to the "other" section. Here, you have to check two boxes: "Enable Custom Content and Mods" and "Script Mods Allowed."

2. Then, you need to extract the downloaded mod and move it to My Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods. Extracted files will be in the format .package or .ts4script. You can move them dirtectly or to a subfolder, both will work.

Add as many or as few traits to your mod folder as desired. Keep all package files and script files paired together in order for the social interactions to work properly. Since this is a script mod, these traits can only be placed one folder deep.

3. That's it. The mods should work the next time you play the game.
