Description:

This mod adds a new "Incognito" spell that allows Spellcasters to equip a magical disguise. Play pranks on your friends (or enemies) without any hard feelings. Engage in a steamy affair without your Sim's significant other finding out. The possibilities are endless when there aren't any consequences!

This spell belongs to the Mischief school of magic and can be learned in all the usual ways. Spellcasters need to be at least rank 3 (Adept) in order to learn it.

This mod requires the Spellbook Injector mod by r3m in order to show up in game.

Outcomes

Standard Success -

Your Sim gains the "Magical Mask" +1 Playful moodlet for 3 hours. While this moodlet is active, none of their relationships can change, positive or negative, and they will not cause jealousy while cheating. If you have the Get Famous expansion pack installed, their fame will not increase and their reputation will not change. Additionally, it doubles as a celebrity disguise. If you have the Discover University expansion pack installed, they will wear a cosmic mask.

Charged Success -

Same as above but the moodlet will last for 6 hours.

Remove Disguise -

Dispels the effect of the spell early. This action can't fail and generates no Spellcaster Charge.

Failure -

Your Sim gains the "Sticking Out" +3 Embarrassed moodlet for 3 hours. While this moodlet is active, your Sim will look like a clown. This effect cannot be dispelled early, and a new disguise cannot be applied until it expires.

Known Issues

Relationship and reputation headlines may still appear above Sims' heads, but no change is actually occurring.

Sims who catch their disguised SO cheating will sometimes lose relationship with the third party but will not understand why (no negative moodlets or jealous reactions).

Requirements

This mod requires the Spellbook Injector mod by r3m and the Realm of Magic game pack.

Instructions:

HOW TO INSTALL THE SIMS 4 MODS?

1. First, you need to enable support for mods in The Sims 4. To do this, start the game, go to the "game options", and then to the "other" section. Here, you have to check two boxes: "Enable Custom Content and Mods" and "Script Mods Allowed."

2. Then, you need to extract the downloaded mod and move it to My Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods. Extracted files will be in the format .package or .ts4script. You can move them dirtectly or to a subfolder, both will work.

Add as many or as few traits to your mod folder as desired. Keep all package files and script files paired together in order for the social interactions to work properly. Since this is a script mod, these traits can only be placed one folder deep.

3. That's it. The mods should work the next time you play the game.
