Twi's Tango AI is a mod for Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield, created by .Twi.
Description:
his replacement AI for terrorists is designed to give your enemies a
few new strategies. The general goal of the mod is:
- to make the game more difficult,
- to make the enemies more realistic, and
- to make things less predictable for experienced players.

This mod adds/changes:
PATROL
- tangos can randomly decide to patrol the map.
HOSTAGES
- any tango can decide to execute a hostage if they feel the threat is great.
- hostage guards can choose to relocate hostages to a safer area if they feel threatened.
- optional experimental feature to randomize hostage locations in Hostage Rescue mode.
FLANKING
- tangos can request a friend to help them flank the enemy.
SURRENDERING
- if a surrendered tango is not secured, they can get up again.
GRENADES
- tangos will only throw grenades if a reasonable distance away.
- tango chance of throwing grenade reduced from 100% to 67%.
- tangos in close proximity to an enemy can attempt to suicide bomb.
SMOKE GRENADES
- if a tango sees a smoke grenade cloud, they increase their alertness.
- tangos can decide to spray suppressive fire at a smoke cloud.
- tangos can decide to take cover if they see a smoke cloud.
SNIPERS
- tangos without long-range scopes can no longer act like snipers.
- tangos with sniper rifles WILL always act like snipers.
MISC IMPROVEMENTS
- tango reaction to hearing bullets improved
- tangos behave more intelligently and realistically if they see a dead body.
- tango pistol accuracy reduced.
CUSTOMIZATION
- most of these changes can be tweaked in the TangoAI.ini file.

TO INSTALL:
1. If playing singleplayer, make sure you have a recent version of OpenRVS installed and
you have set the experimental MP mods feature to on.
2. Place TangoAI.ini into your System folder (or your server's System folder if running an MP server),
and TangoAI.utx into your Textures folder (or your server's Textures folder).
3. Open your Ravenshield.mod file (or your server's Ravenshield.mod file). Add the
following to the bottom of the file:
ServerPackages=TangoAI
ServerActors=TangoAI.TangoAIMod
4. Save and close the file. Start your game/server, and enjoy!
5. To play the AI in other singleplayer mods (eg Supply Drop) you will need to add OpenRVS's
experimental mods feature to that mod first, then follow these instructions except using the
mod's folders and *.mod file.
