UPDATE:

The demo version of RE2 Remake has been also released on PCs via Steam platform.

RESIDENT EVIL 2 IN A NUTSHELL:

  1. Developer: Capcom
  2. Publisher: Capcom
  3. Genre: survival horror
  4. Platforms: PC, XONE, PS4
  5. Release date: January 25, 2019.

There are still two weeks left until the release of Resident Evil 2, the remake of the classic survival horror from 1998. We, however, can already take the game for a spin, thanks to the release of the demo version. Currently, the demo can be downloaded on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

The demo is 7.91GB on PlayStation 4 and 7.02GB on Xbox One. The authors have implemented an unusual demo mechanic – they gave players only 30 minutes to complete the demo version. If they can't handle the task, they will be forced to restart the game.

It is also unusual that the demo will only be available until January 31, this year. If you are interested in testing Resident Evil 2, we advise you to hurry.

Let’s remind that Resident Evil 2 is heading for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The production will be on sale on January 25, this year. The PC version of the game will use the Denuvo anti-piracy system. For the biggest fans, the developers have prepared a rich collector's edition, offering, among others, a 30-centimeter tall figure of Leon Kennedy.

The remake presents itself impressively in terms of visuals, which is not surprising, because at least 800 people worked on the project. Next to Devil May Cry 5 it will be the most important premiere for Capcom this year.
