The developers of Nvidia have released another driver package, numbered 417.71. These are the first drivers officially supporting the GeForce RTX 2060 GPU, which debuted on the market today. The software also allows you to use the G-Sync while playing on some monitors that support Adaptive Sync (AMD's FreeSync). It is worth noting that this option is reserved for owners of cards based on Pascal (GTX 10xx) and Turing (RTX 20xx) architectures exclusively. The function also works only on computers equipped with a single monitor.
In addition to the above mentioned novelties, the drivers also offer a number of other fixes – for example, 3D Vision profiles have been added for Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Darksiders 3. The drivers work with 64-bit versions of Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 operating systems. The full list of changes can be found at this address (there is also a list of supported GPUs), while the drivers themselves can be downloaded using the Nvidia search engine or the GeForce Experience tool.
