The Loyalty bonus may appear as one of the clauses during negotiations in FM 22 - specifically, when negotiating contracts with players who could become new additions to your team or want to extend their contract and remain in the club.
The Loyalty bonus in Football Manager 2022 is monthly, but it's forfeited when the player requests to be transfered to another club. If a player leaves the club during the term of his contract, you'll most likely need to pay the amount you owe him. The Loyalty bonuses paid each season are deducted from this season's transfer budget.
