The Forest: Effigies

The last tab allows you to create human effigies. To construct them, you will need various body parts (Legs, Arms and Heads), which can be collected from a mutant corpse. By building effigies, provided that you set them on fire, will scare nearby mutants off - it will decrease the chance of you being attacked by them.

You can gain access to this tab only after your Sanity parameter drops below 90% - the state of this parameter can be checked in the STATS tab of the Survival Guide. This parameter decreases when the character kills enemies and/or chops their bodies, spends time in caves and eats human flesh. On the other hand, it increases when the character is sleeping, eats non-human meat, listens to the cassette player or sits on a bench.

Here you can find the following constructions:

1. Custom Effigy - the only effigy that you can customize. It has the same parameters as all of the remaining effigies - scares off enemies - but it is the only one of this category that is not invulnerable - enemies can destroy it.
2. Small Effigy - the smallest and the cheapest to craft effigy, which has a chance to scare off enemies, provided that you set in on fire first.
3. Large Effigy - larger and more expensive than Small Effigy. It lasts for about 5 times longer than other effigies in the game.
4. Arm Effigy - an effigy created from arms. It has the same parameters as the Small Effigy.
