Jookitooz, or more precisely - David Kampa, is an independent developer from Barcelona, whose adventure with video games began at the beginning of the third decade of the 21st century. He previously worked on 3D graphics for the advertising industry and occasionally for the film industry. For his debut work, he chose a project on the border of logic games and arcade games, which he titled A-RED Walking Robot.

Gameplay

In A-RED Walking Robot, we watch the action from various angles (both from behind the hero, from the side, and from a bird's eye view). We embody the titular A-RED in the game - a wind-up robot. The protagonist's task is to overcome the challenges prepared by his creator.

Big challenges for a small robot

The robot must navigate complex labyrinths, move objects and shift items, interact with switches, overcome terrain obstacles, and also eliminate enemies who stand in his way.

Our protagonist has a range of tools at their disposal, which they can make use of. Legs allow us to walk, while a jetpack allows the robot to move through the air. Besides, with the help of mechanical arms, we can move objects, while by shooting lasers, we can get rid of enemies and move selected obstacles.

Wound-up heart

The matter is complicated by the fact that we have limited time for all this, because once the driving mechanism of our robot is wound up, it will not rotate indefinitely. However, along the way we acquire golden keys, which increase the protagonist's vitality.
