A digital board game by Nomad Games combining the iconic Warhammer universe with the rules of the popular board game, Talisman. The story is based on the “Horus Heresy” trilogy by Dan Abnett and takes place in 31st millennium, when humanity flourishes under the rule of a gracious Emperor. When he had suddenly withdrawn from the frontlines, and Horus, his favorite son whom he promoted to the rank of Warmaster, objected to his ambitious plans, a great civil war breaks out.

Cardinal Quest is a fantasy RPG production developed for PCs, where the player's task is to explore the underground and fight monsters. The game offers a simplified interpretation of roguelike standards, randomly generated dungeons and the inability to resurrect the fallen hero.

Lost Socks: Naughty Brothers tells a rather absurd story of two brothers, who are... a pair of socks. When one of them disappears without a trace, the other decides to find him, which is an excuse for playing through 30 crazy stages.

A celebrity life simulator developed by Glu Mobile, the creators of similar games: Katy Perry Pop and Kim Kardashian: Hollywood. Britney Spears: American Dream is a mobile game based on free-to-play model with optional microtransactions. The player assumes the role of a young person – a man or a woman – who dreams of a career of a pop music idol. The titular singer helps the protagonist in getting to the top.

Breaking Bad: Empire Business is a mobile economic strategy based on the popular TV series. It was developed by Phase One Games and it uses a free to play distribution model with microtransactions. The player is tasked with creating and managing a drug empire. Characters known from the screen appear in the game, including Walter White, Jesse Pinkman, Gus Fring and Saul Goodman. However, the game doesn’t repeat the scenario from the original production.

An action platformer featuring RPG elements and created for mobile devices only. It was developed by the gang du studio. The player assumes the role of a warrior called Buta, who sets out for a personal revenge mission after having his wife killed. The game makes references to old action platformers - it is a two-dimensional platform game requiring the players to travel through a series of levels, where they encounter large numbers of enemies, but also powerful bosses.

Arcade canceled

A free-to-play clicker game by Hyper Hippo. The game is based on the original RuneScape franchise, so the fans should easily recognize the characters and locations, as well as events, which can be relived once again. This time you play as Needle, an artifact, whose task is to interact with its surroundings, which you do by clicking. As you play, you earn money, which you use to buy helpers, who can do things for you in your absence.

A Japanese roguelike role-playing game and a part of the Mystery Dungeon series. Shiren The Wanderer: The Tower of Fortune and the Dice of Fate was originally released in 2010 for Nintendo DS only in Japan, while its enhanced edition, Shiren the Wanderer 5 Plus was released in 2015. You play as a quiet wandering warrior named Shiren, accompanied by a talkative ferret called Koppa.

An economy simulation strategy game developed by SomaSim and inspired by the 1994 Sim Tower by Maxis. The action of Project Highrise takes place in modern times, and the player assumes the role of the manager and the architect of a skyscraper under construction. The production isn’t fully realistic since the building is erected in stages so that the completed floors can be used by inhabitants and workers, providing us with the money necessary to complete the construction of the remaining levels.

A mobile action game which combines pinball and painting in an rather interesting way. This unorthodox idea was created in the London-based studio State of Play. Similarly as in case of a typical pinball, in Inks the player bounces a ball by using flippers placed at the bottom of the screen. However, instead of an impressive pinball table, in this game the screen shows only a simple background with lightly drawn contour.

A turn-based strategy game for mobile devices, set in the American Old West. It was developed by the Mika Mobile studio and takes the player to a land combining the Wild West with occultist ideas. Such a combination gave plenty of room to the creators, when it came to writing the scenarios and inventing the virtual weapons. The game focuses mainly on turn-based battles during which, the player can command over twenty different types of units.

A text adventure game focusing on co-op experience and investigation-related aspects. It was created by Mi-Clos - a French developer. The year is 1983 and the plot is set in the titular Antioch - a fictional town surrounded by sea and mountains. The game follows the adventures of two detectives working on an exceptionally complicated case.

RPG 14 January 2016

A mobile RPG based on the world and characters featured in Rick and Morty, an animated series broadcasted on Adult Swim (American cable network). Similarly to the original, Pocket Mortys tells the story of a mad alcoholic scientist, Rick Sanchez, and his naive 14-year-old grandson, Mortimer Smith. The plot revolves around Rick's failed experiment that brought creatures from another dimension to Earth, and our task is, obviously, to stop them.

The second installment of the famous series of two-dimensional Metal Slug shooters. As we play, we play the role of soldiers joining the battle with the evil general Morden, who once again threatens the world. During the game we fight with our opponents using various weapons and vehicles.

A soccer management game with RPG elements developed for mobile devices, and a spin-off of the popular FIFA series by Electronic Arts. FIFA Soccer: Prime Stars is a typical management game, whose mechanics have been greatly simplified, and the gameplay consists mostly of gathering and developing your team members. After recruiting the soccer players, you have to lead them through training sessions, which helps them develop their abilities and level up.

Monster Hunter Explore is an action game with a tertiary view, enriched with RPG elements. The action takes place in a fantasy world, and the player's task is to hunt powerful monsters using an extensive combat system.

A mobile platform game from an independent Finish studio Muro, which evolved from a simple but successful project initiated by a few Alto University students. In Shadow Bug, we assume the role of a militant worm armed with two swords. The protagonist's job is to clear the forest of the hostile bugs and other opponents. During the gameplay, we traverse successive levels, in which we meet a whole bunch of different enemies and a large number of traps, which often require some cleverness.

Another official DLC to the popular card game Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft developed by studio Blizzard. The plot of the Whispers of the Old Gods expansion focuses on the eponymous creatures that awakened after sleeping for thousands of years. It adds the characters of Yogg-Saron, Y’Shaarj, N’Zoth and C’Thun to the game. In addition to these very powerful characters, in the set there are also support cards with cultists who boost statistics of the aforementioned heroes.
