An Oriental MMO game created using the CryEngine 3 engine. In production we play the role of a warrior, mage or archer and we travel through a vast world to fight enemies. The work of Polygon Games studio surprises with its great visual setting and very nice character and location design.
ASTA: The War of Tears and Winds is a cRPG game specifically designed for multiplayer gameplay. Players from all over the world, via the Internet, experience adventures in the oriental world together. The Korean company Polygon Games, consisting of a team of MMORPG Rohan creators and Polygon Visual Works, which is known in that market for its high quality graphic designs, is responsible for the production. The production was previously known as Project E:ST: The Fantasy of Asia - at the end of 2010 the title was changed to ASTA.
As in other MMORPGs, players create their characters based on one of the three classes typical of the genre: warrior, archer or magician. Then they develop it, improve its abilities and collect equipment to face stronger and stronger opponents.
What distinguishes ASTA from other games of this type is the exceptional graphics quality achieved with the CryEngine3 engine. The combination of hand-painted textures with realistic light effects looks very interesting. The artists also combine elements of eastern and western cultures, as exemplified by the green-skinned orc running through the oriental city.
