AND

Beatdown, released on iOS and AND, is a beat 'em up. The production was developed by Ravenous Games, known from such hit series as League of Evil, Random Heroes or Devious Dungeon, and released by Noodlecake.

Plot

The plot of the game is simple, but at the same time, it offers a scenario rarely seen in beat 'em ups. We play as a regular employee of a large company who one day is fired for no good reason at all. Such blatant injustice causes the protagonist to be overwhelmed by pure fury and the only thing that can extinguish this anger is to beat up the CEO of the company. Of course, the path to his office is guarded by hordes of enemies, both other corporate and law enforcement personnel, as well as a variety of monsters.

Mechanics

The campaign offers in Beatdown twenty extensive levels in which we travel through five types of locations. Thirty types of opponents plus five powerful bosses are waiting to be defeated. The gameplay mechanics remain true to the tradition of the genre. We move to the right side of the screens and eliminate anyone who stands in our way using a dynamic combat system that allows us to use several different attacks and a wide range of weapons. In addition, during clashes, the character charges his rage bar - once it is full, he can activate Fury mode, which for a few seconds greatly increases the strength of his attacks and the resistance to damage. The game also has a combo system.

Game modes

Besides the campaign, Beatdown also offers endless mode. Here, we can face endless waves of enemies. Victory is not possible. Sooner or later, we will make one mistake too many and the hero will die. The goal here is to try to beat our own records and those of the rest of the community, which we can see using online rankings. It is worth mentioning that the authors have implemented three control systems to choose from.
