Arcade side-scroll 2D shooter with platformer elements. Bleed 2 is a continuation of the production published in 2012. Players take on the role of a brave girl named Wryn, who is the last superhero in the world and fights evil.
Bleed 2 is a continuation of the 2012 two-dimensional shooter Bleed. The project was developed by an independent studio Bootdisk Revolution, led by Ian Campbell, who is responsible for virtually the whole game. However, Jukio Kallio (she took care of parts of the soundtrack) and Joonas Turner (the rest of the soundtrack) added their three cents to it as well. The first installment of Bleed was distributed in a circulation of over 120 thousand copies, which allowed the devs to develop a more extensive continuation.
The plot is only a pretext to traverse subsequent stages and tell about the adventures of a certain Wryn. The girl is the only and thus the biggest hero in the world. To maintain this title, she has to fight the forces of evil.
Bleed 2 offers the same gameplay style as its predecessor. It is a 2D platform shooter. The adventure of Wryn was divided into seven extended stages, where we have to face countless opponents and as many as twenty-five bosses.
The game is not too complicated, but it gives room to show off. Wryn, in addition to shooting, must avoid attacks from enemies, including using the ability to slow down time. In addition, she can glide for a moment. These few elements make the gameplay fast and exciting.
Bleed 2 offers a story campaign that we can complete by ourselves. However, there is also a co-op mode for two people. It also offers other variants of the game, including Arcade Mode, where we compete for the best results recorded in the world rankings. In addition, the game offers several levels of difficulty.
Visuals of Bleed 2 have improved, although they retained the same style as the first installment. Wryn is better animated, more special effects appear during the game and the levels have been expanded.

Game Ratings for Bleed 2 Video Game.
VGChartz: 5 / 10 by Paul Broussard
Bleed 2 only costs $10 as of the time of writing, but even a price point discounted that heavily is a bit difficult to justify given the lack of original content.
TheSixthAxis: 9 / 10 by Gareth Chadwick
For fans of fast-paced, over the top twin stick action, complete with bullet time and a score system that awards perfection, Bleed 2 is excellent. The only real issue is its length, which is remedied to an extent by additional characters, weapons, and modes. If arcade, Contra/Metal Slug action is your thing and you've been missing it, you could do much worse than Bleed 2.
Nintendo Life: 8 / 10 by Mitch Vogel
Bleed 2 is a game that prides itself on giving the player a memorable and distilled experience that gets at the heart of what makes arcade games great. Those looking for a deep well of diverse content will find themselves dissatisfied, but those looking for a game about raw, fun gameplay will find more than enough satisfaction in the nearly endless options for replayability. We'd give Bleed 2 a strong recommendation; it combines charming presentation and tight mechanics to provide an experience that's as focused as it is enjoyable.
