Brothers in Arms 3: Sons of War is a World War II shooter developed for AND, iOS and WP. The game utilizes a free-to-play distribution model with microtransactions. It was developed by Gameloft.


During the Brothers in Arms 3: Sons of War for AND, iOS and WP the player assumes the role of Sergeant Wright. Together with a small squad they are performing missions for the Allied forces soon after the Normandy landing.


The action in Brothers in Arms 3: Sons of War is presented from a third-person perspective – however, it is possible to instantly switch to the first-person perspective in order to aim down sights. The gameplay boils down to murdering hordes of enemies. The game features a cover system. During the missions, the player is accompanied by other members of their squad. Each member of the squad features unique skills and equipment. This enables the player to use air strikes, Molotov’s cocktails and rockets.

The game features some RPG elements. During the missions, the player can gather experience points that can be spent on upgrading skills and traits of the soldiers. For example, the player can increase the number of their health points or reduce the skills’ cooldowns.

The campaign consists of eight long missions, during which players can participate in long battles and stealth missions. The game does not feature a multiplayer. The player can compete with other users only by participating in regular challenges against the AI, and comparing their score with others on a general socreboard.
