Camp Canyonwood Release Date PC
Camp Canyonwood is a sim game with survival elements. It was developed by Deli Interactive, an indie studio, and was published by Graffiti Games.
Action in Camp Canyonwood takes place in a world inhabited by anthropomorphic animals. Game takes us on a journey to the title summer camp, located in picturesque scenery inspired by the landscapes of Utah. We take on the role of a newly appointed chief counselor whose task is to restore the former glory of the place. It won't be easy, because not only there are numerous, but at the same time quite "standard" challenges, but also after nightfall various unusual (and dangerous) things happen here...
In Camp Canyonwood we observe the action from a top-down view. We control the hero who has to take care of a group of children. Together with the participants of the camp we explore the surroundings and learn its secrets, as well as various useful skills, such as fishing, catching worms, archery, chopping wood and obtaining other resources. The last ones serve us to gradually expand the camp; although initially the participants have to sleep in tents, with time we can replace them with cozy (and safe) houses.
As you progress, your campers earn badges, and the more badges they collect, the more cash you'll have in your pocket. It's not as easy as it sounds, though, as the individual campers have their own personalities, quirks, needs, and strengths and weaknesses that need to be learned and put to good use.
Moreover, although the area around the camp seems peaceful and picturesque, we often have to be on our guard. Dangers lurk for us and our charges mainly after sunset, when we may encounter bears or... flying saucers that carry away anyone who finds themselves in their range.
Camp Canyonwood features colorful, hand-drawn graphics in an interesting, eye-catching style.
