Car Repair is a simulation game that takes us to Poland from the 1990s and allows us to play the role of a local car mechanic. The game is the debut work of the independent Polish studio Little Dog Games.

Mechanics

In Car Repair we watch the action from a first-person perspective (FPP). During the game customers show up in our workshop and we must deal with repairing their cars. People show up with various issues to their cars - from oil changes, through paintwork, to complex engine repairs.

We can take our duties seriously if we want to, carrying out individual tasks according to the book and assembling the best parts. Nonetheless, from a financial point of view, this is not necessarily the most optimal solution.

As times are difficult, a better way may be to balance between the quality and profitability of the services we provide. More money can often stay in our pocket when we decide to pick cheap solutions with no warranty for the customer. We can also try to dismantle the better parts from customers' cars and replace them with cheaper substitutes.
