November 2025 saw the release of the full version of the popular extraction shooter, titled Escape from Tarkov, which had been stuck in early access since July 2017. Just over two months later, footage from the enigmatic project, which was linked to Nikita Buyanov, the director of the first mentioned work, saw the light of day.
From the trailer made available on February 1, 2026, it appeared that Cor3 (hypothetical title) would be a science fiction FPS set in post-apocalyptic climates. A little more light was shed on the project by its official website. One could learn from it that the title will take us to the year 2251, two hundred years after the events that brought humanity to the brink of darkness. Under the leadership of an organization called the Nucleus, they managed to stem the tide of mutual destruction and unite the world under a common banner.
Although this could have been inferred from the trailer alone, delving into the snippets of information revealed by the tw?rc?s allowed one to conclude that the action of this enigmatic item would be set on Mars. What was not known was whether we would get a single-player production, or whether we would get a title created with multiplayer gameplay in mind.
