Crypt Custodian is a metroidvania, created in the form of an action adventure game inspired by The Legend of Zelda series. The game was created by an independent developer - Kyle Thompson - who previously made warmly received projects such as Sheepo and Islets.

Plot

The main character of Crypt Custodian is a mischievous cat named Pluto. Our protagonist ended up in the afterlife after death, specifically - in the palace of the guardian of the land of the dead named Kendra. She judged him and sentenced him to eternal cleaning of the spirit world and banished him from her lands. From now on, the protagonist must do everything in his power to find his way back to the palace and try to change his fate.
