DayZ: Badlands

DayZ: Badlands is the third DLC for DayZ, a survival MMO based on the zombie theme. In this case Bohemia Interactive studio offers an extensive map in a desert climate and its accompanying elements.

New features in the expansion

Badlands presents us with a survival challenge in Nasdar - a dry region of Takistan, a country inspired by Afghanistan. This is a 267 square kilometer expanse of sand and cracked soil, where decaying and abandoned Middle Eastern-style cities neighbor Soviet-era military bases and modern oil infrastructure.

Similar to Frostline, the third add-on offers not only a fresh map, but also new types of survival challenges. The difficult terrain forces players to search for valuable water and control the overheating level. We also have to deal with the region's characteristic wild fauna and new variants of zombies. Finding the means to treat a wound can now be a much more difficult task.
