A fantasy MOBA game developed by the co-creator of the original Just Cause, among other people. The gameplay follows the typical rules of the genre and focuses on competition of two 3-player teams. The title emphasizes mainly the dynamic gameplay. There are 3 character classes for the players to choose from: night, day, and hybrid - each possessing different abilities.
Deadbreed for PC is an online fantasy MOBA battle game. It was developed by a team lead by Stefan Ljungquist, the lead art designer of the original Just Cause. The production is free-to-play and offers optional micropayments.
In the game, two teams fight each other and try to destroy each other’s base. Heroes are divided into three races: night, day, and hybrid. Naturally, they all have unique sets of abilities. Moreover, their combat capabilities are also influenced by the equipment we choose. The primary goal of the developers was to offer battles that are significantly shorter than those in other productions in the genre, such as Dota 2 or League of Legends. It was achieved by increasing the combat dynamics and limiting players number to six; three on each team.
During the matches, heroes gather experience points and advance to higher levels. Their progress is carried over into further battles. This continuity also involves equipment which wears off and does not regenerate on its own. The game also offers an extensive crafting system that allows us to modify our items and to create new ones.
In Deadbreed, it is also possible to summon various creatures to help us in battle. Every match ends with a boss fight and the players choose his species. Each one presents a different challenge and victory brings unique awards. Furthermore, Deadbreed for PC offers a myriad of map configuration options. We are the ones who decide whether or not they will include, for example, dungeons, side quests, or additional PvP missions.
