Deuce is an arcade game created with a pinch of salt, combining a tennis simulator with elements of classic automatic brawls, in the style of the cult Street Fighter. The game is a side-project of Garry Newman's Facepunch studio, which has become famous for its popular Source engine modification, known as Garry's Mod, and the Sandbox action game Rust.

As we play, we play home-grown tennis players from all over the globe to duel on various arenas scattered all over the world. As in the Capcomu series, each player is accompanied by a court characteristic of his country. What is worth mentioning, the pitches are located in such unusual places as the courtyard of a Chinese monastery or desert American wilderness and differ not only in different scenery and style of performance - each of them also has a slightly different impact on the course of the game, offering a variety of "surprises" with which players will meet.

Each of the wide range of players represents a slightly different style of play, distinguished by agility, speed or strength of the strokes. In addition, as in typical automatic brawlers, everyone also has a specific resource of unique special plays. It can be for example a burning or ice ball, which will burn or freeze your opponent accordingly. Victory in any game will depend not only on our tennis skills, but also on our ability to make the most of these games.

Graphic design of the game was made in a typical cartoon style. In the arenas we can see exaggerated characters, completely different from athletic silhouettes of sportsmen, known from tennis courts. The whole works on the popular Unity Engin, using the author's own physical engine from the Facepunch studio.
