Disney Magic Kingdoms for AND, PC and etc. is a colourful economic strategy in which you build and manage your own Disneyland. The game is co-developed by The Walt Disney Company and one of the most experienced mobile phone games developers – Gameloft.

Mechanics

Disney Magic Kingdoms follows the classic mechanics of the RollerCoaster Tycoon series. However, instead of standard elements of theme parks, you can place original attractions of the most popular Disney parks, like those in Anaheim (California), Orlando (Florida), and Paris. You start the game with one castle being the centre of your future Disneyland. During the course of the game you unlock and build new attractions such as haunted house and princesses’ hall. Apart the construction itself, you also need to skilfully manage the whole enterprise, so as to generate income allowing for further development.

Much like in other games of the genre, during gameplay you do not have a complete freedom – you need to accomplish certain objectives, earning experience points and levelling up, which allows you to unlock attractions unavailable before. The game is interlaced with a plot that depicts Disney’s most popular heroes like Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse, who are trying to defeat the universe’s most evil antagonists – Maleficent, Emperor Zurg, etc.

Technical aspects

Visually, Disney Magic Kingdoms for AND, PC and etc. resembles most of the games in this genre, although the production was properly stylised and colored with candy graphics characteristic for Disney’s games, films, and animations.
