The Riders of the Dragoturkey is the first official extension of the MMORPG, Dofus, created by a French development company, Ankama Games. Plugin introduces a lot of novelties to the game, including new locations, the ability to use "mounts". (title Dragonturkey), professions, subjects or an interesting anti-bot system.

Travellers visiting the world of Dofus will certainly enjoy the opportunity to catch the wild Dragonturkey and use it as a top animal. These animals can then be bred in specially constructed paddocks, private (available only to members of a given guild) and generally available. In addition to increasing the speed of movement around the world and equipment capacity, mounts offer a number of other bonuses, depending on the type of pet and the food they receive. The bonuses are also influenced by the interaction with our charges and training them with the use of available devices. This is connected with a new profession, Handyman, thanks to which owners of private paddocks can purchase and install various "training" machines in them.

Another novelty introduced to the game world thanks to the addition is a large area called The Koalak's Mountain, inhabited by aggressive, coal-like creatures. You will find locations like Wild Canyon, Kaliptus Forest or Enchanted Lakes, but you should take into account that the inhabitants of these areas are quite demanding opponents, and visiting this corner alone (if you don't have a well-developed character) is not a good idea. The "bad fame" of this area may be evidenced by the fact that a few days after it was introduced to the game, the demand for elixirs renewing energy increased drastically. In The Koalak's Mountain we can also find a lot of free running Dragonturkeys and with a bit of luck to become the owner of one of them.

Game developers also decided to respond to the appeals of players regarding the plague of probably most MMO games - bots collecting raw materials. The system to combat this type of activity is based on random battles with so-called resource defenders. If you are an honest player, the victory will be rewarded with 50 units of a particular raw material, but if you use a macro - well, the fight can last quite a long time and usually ends in the death of the character. Functionality, which will surely please players is the possibility of suspecting what kind of thing is useful to do, or what items we need to complete to make for example a coat or weapon.

The changes have also affected several different locations - for example, the village of Bworkow has been expanded, several dungeons have been added (including those specially designed for low-level players) and the ability to resurrect their dead animals. It should be added, however, that this operation is quite time-consuming and does not belong to the easiest - but the fight in the body of your pet is rather an interesting experience. Players will certainly notice additional markets where we can now sell and buy animals, runes and coils.

The Riders of the Dragoturkey also introduces a lot of modifications in the field of spells (e.g. range, duration), the behavior of opponents or the way they fight. In short, the addition breathed some fresh air into the colourful world of Dofus.
