Drawn: Dark Flight is another adventure game developed by Big Fish Games. The studio deals mainly with the creation of smaller casual productions available mainly in electronic distribution. The developer tries to find his niche and releases low-budget adventure games or "hidden objects" titles.

In the first part of the series, that is Drawn: The Painted Tower was to free a girl named Iris from the title tower. This time we also save the young heroine from oppression. It turns out that the streets of the kingdom of Stonebriar have mastered a bizarre shadow, behind which there are evil powers trying to take over Iris' supernatural skills. It has a special gift that allows it to transfer to reality every picture drawn by it. She is also the heir to the throne of the kingdom of Stonebriar.

On the way to discovering the truth and getting rid of the shadow, there are many logical puzzles that we have to solve in order to put the adventure on the right track. However, the times of Sierra's hardcore adventures are now forgotten - in Dark Flight we can use an extensive system of hints at every step. If a riddle turns out to be too difficult, we can easily avoid it.

The graphic design plays an important role in this production. It's hard to describe it in one word - you'll find here elements of collage, paper-mâché, cut-outs, Disney-style pictures or books known from childhood with a folding picture inside. All this makes up an unusual game world, in which we solve puzzles, often also having a lot in common with art. In one of them we have to manage several waterfalls and aqueducts in such a way as to mix the paints in appropriate proportions. Our heroine has the opportunity to enter the "world of art". This skill is often useful when we have to acquire an object from this colorful world, needed "on the other side", where black and gray rule.

The low-budget character of the production is visible in the animation layer - there are few of them and we spend most of our time watching static backgrounds.
