Drive Beyond Horizons is a combination of a car game and an action adventure game. The project was developed by the independent Tacty Studio, which has a battle royale shooter titled Passed Out in its portfolio.

Gameplay

In Drive Beyond Horizons, we watch events from a first-person perspective (FPP).

Exploration

During the game, we sit behind the wheel of a car and move forward to discover the titular horizons. The locations we travel through are procedurally generated and they include both vast deserts and lush forests. A day-night cycle has been implemented here, as well as variable weather conditions, which further diversify further expeditions.

Dangers

When we decide to stop in a specific place, it is worth first carefully examining the area, as dangers may lurk in the locations we visit, ranging from wild animals to hordes of zombies. The game allows us to fight threats using firearms and other means.

Cars

We start the game with an old clunker, which somehow holds together and surprisingly is able to move forward. Thankfully, the game does not force us to stick with our first car, as we can acquire new vehicles as we progress.
