Dual Hearts is an action game with RPG elements, created and released by Atlus. The title allows us to taste life in a fairy-tale, idealised world, where the boundaries between reality and dreams have long since been blurred.

In Dual Hearts we play the role of a well-known treasure hunter, a young boy named Rumble. He wanted to find the legendary Stone of Dream, so he went to Sonno Island, famous for its mysterious temple, which is a kind of watchtower between imagination and realism. Rumble wouldn't care about the presence of the building near the place of his search if he hadn't met a friendly animal, Tumble, the royal envoy. Its task is to break the seal that protects the temple, and a newly met boy is supposed to help in its realization. After completing this plan, the two heroes will have a lot of exciting adventures ahead of them.

The game was divided into 40 stages. While having fun we travel through colourful locations inspired by the culture of the Far East. The missions we receive from people we meet require us to move to the dreams of our clients. This means that the tasks are varied and require universal skills from us. The whole action is presented in real time, and the essence of the game are battles with fancy enemies. To fight imaginary opponents we use standard swords and spears (up to two at once), as well as several effective spells. It is worth noting Tumble's abilities, reminiscent of Pikiu in its appearance. He regularly acts as a steed that carries a friend on his back. He can move not only on land, but also in water and air. It should be noted that dialogue options, according to the canons of Japanese RPGs, are not too extensive and mostly require only pressing the key, responsible for continuing the conversation.

The audio-visual output of the product is maintained at a medium level. The characters and elements of the surroundings look coarsely, although they are decently animated. It is worthwhile to take a look at interesting location projects, which include tombs, green meadows, dark forests and small villages and towns. The creators have calculated that it takes about 20 hours to complete the main plot.
