An action RPG with pixel-art graphics, combining directional combat with soulslike elements. Duel Corp allows us to create our own heroes, as well as to develop individual combat styles and skill sets. We can explore a procedurally generated world alone or in 2-person co-op.

Duel Corp. is an action RPG with a third-person perspective that combines dynamic directional combat with an extensive character development system, prepared in the spirit of soulslike games. The development of this game was handled by the independent studio Dreameffect Entertainment.

Gameplay

In Duel Corp. directional combat plays a key role, where precision and reflexes are as important as tactics. Every strike requires proper positioning relative to the opponent, and the direction of attack and dodge can determine the outcome of the encounter.

The character development system is not limited to rigid classes – we can freely combine weapons, talents, and skills, creating unique style combinations, from melee warriors to mages and ranged shooters.

The game world has a partially procedural structure – dungeons, missions, and challenges change with each session, providing variety and an element of unpredictability. The central point of gameplay is a hub where we rest, trade, and prepare for subsequent expeditions. In the field, cooperative exploration is possible, as well as joint battles with powerful bosses requiring teamwork and good team coordination.

Game modes

Duel Corp. offers several gameplay variants tailored to different play styles. The story campaign allows for solo exploration of the world, character development, and undertaking quests without the involvement of other players. In the online co-op mode, two people can venture into the dungeons together and face opponents in challenging PvE encounters.

For fans of competition, a PvP mode has also been prepared, where players can engage in duels or team skirmishes using a matchmaking system. The variety of modes allows Duel Corp. to combine the features of a classic action RPGs with the flexibility of modern online games.

Story

Duel Corp. transports us to a fantasy world full of mysteries and dangers, where dangerous creatures and hidden artifacts await discovery. The game combines elements of adventurous exploration with themes inspired by soulslike games - we take on the role of an adventurer who traverses procedurally generated areas in search of challenges and rewards.
