The Orb and the Oracle to sequel to Dungeon Lords, produced in 2005 by Heuristic Park studio. Like its predecessor, this title represents the cRPG species and takes us into the monster-packed fantasy world.

When you start your adventure with the game, you create your own hero, assigning him to 5 out of more than 25 character classes, spread out over three levels. Each class opens the way to new skills and influences how our students can use weapons and magic.

The authors tried to diversify the environment in which the player moves his character, so that among the available locations were chapels, camps or rural huts, as well as forest, mountain and swamp areas. We visit all these places during the non-linear single player campaign, where we perform quests for NPCs. A series of missions allows us to discover the full story of The Orb and the Oracle, which was invented by D.W. Bradley, the author of scripts for Wizardry and Dungeon Lords series. The prizes we receive for our tasks are experience points, gold and several hundred valuable items (artifacts and new weapons). Later in the game we can even unlock new character classes, strengthening our hero's abilities and giving him an advantage in a real-time fight against his opponents.

The project is also equipped with a multiplayer option. However, it was limited to the co-operative mode within the basic campaign of the game.
