An arcade game about playing golf. In Everybody's Golf: Hot Shots, simulating the real game is not the priority, and it's about having accessible fun. We have plenty of different golf courses and players to choose from. We can enjoy the game alone or in various multiplayer modes (online & shared screen).
The roots of the Everybody's Golf arcade series date back to 1997. At that time, it was the first production under this brand that debuted on PlayStation 1 console. Since then, the series has been inseparably linked with Sony devices. Everybody's Golf: Hot Shots described here is the result of a collaboration between HYDE studio, Bandai Namco Entertainment and Sony Interactive Entertainment. It is the first major installment also released on other platforms.
The gameplay in Everybody's Golf: Hot Shots focuses on playing golf. Unlike games simulating this sport, it does not strive for excessive realism, attaching greater importance to accessibility and good fun. To hit the ball to the target, we need to aim and press the button three times at the right moment, which results in executing a perfect strike.
The game takes place on various golf courses and allows us to choose the time of day and weather conditions. We also have a wide range of characters at our disposal.
Everybody's Golf: Hot Shots can be played alone or in multiplayer mode. The Stroke Play mode is waiting to be checked, where we can hone our skills. There are also over 100 tournaments. We can have fun with other people over the Internet or on a shared screen. The icing on the cake is the special Crazy Golf mode, which turns this usually calm game upside down.
The graphic design of Everybody’s Golf: Hot Shots is maintained in a manga style.

Game Ratings for Everybody's Golf: Hot Shots Video Game.
Nindie Spotlight: 7.7 / 10 by Justin Nation
While it’s great to see the popular series make its way to Switch, overall it has its ups and downs
Worth Playing: 7 / 10 by Cody Medellin
Everybody's Golf: Hot Shots is fine overall. The core gameplay experience remains unchanged, the performance is solid, and the modes are plentiful enough to keep you occupied for a very long time, even if that means that unlocking the roster can feel like a grind. However, the courses you play are merely fine, some of the mechanics feel dated, and the presentation lacks polish. Longtime fans may pick up this title anyway, considering how long it has been between entries. More casual fans will have a good time, but don't go in expecting the high standards of the previous titles in the franchise.
Shacknews: 5 / 10 by Andrew McMahon
The main saving grace for Everybody's Golf Hot Shots is that Wacky Golf is chaotic fun with friends, especially if you don't care about winning. If you're going into the game expecting this to be a next step in the evolution of the series, though, I hope you've got a pretty high handicap, as you're going to need it.
