Fast Food Simulator is a simulation game that allows us to spr?b our forces in the role of an employee of the title fast food restaurant. The production was developed by the independent Turkish studio No Ceiling Games.

Gameplay

In Fast Food Simulator, we watch the action from a first-person perspective (FPP). During the gameplay, all issues related to the operation of the title fast food rests on our shoulders.

Depending on the role we have been assigned, during the game we take orders from customers, receive deliveries and arrange ingredients on trays, operate vending machines, fryers or grills, as well as prepare burgers and other meals (arranging them ourselves) and serve them to guests.

Although there is nothing to prevent you from taking care of everything a little at a time, this can be a ready recipe for a slip-up. In a place of this type, everything happens quickly, which makes it easy to make mistakes here, even when sharing the duties with others. In addition, the fun is enhanced by unexpected events and challenges we have to face.

The main cons of the game

  • Solo Play Difficulty: A significant number of reviews mention that the game becomes overly challenging when playing solo, particularly after reaching level 10 when the drive-thru is unlocked. Players feel overwhelmed by the number of tasks and short timeframes.
  • Lack of AI Assistance: Many players express frustration over the absence of AI helpers in the kitchen to assist with cooking or preparing orders, making solo gameplay particularly strenuous.

  • AI Kitchen Staff: Players want the ability to hire AI staff to help with cooking, preparing drinks, and managing orders, especially for solo players.
  • Customization Options: Users are requesting more customization features for the restaurant's layout, decor, and menu items, as well as the ability to adjust prices and control the menu.
  • Pause Functionality: A common request is for a pause feature in single-player mode, as the game currently does not allow for pausing, which can disrupt gameplay.
  • Expanded Gameplay Mechanics: Suggestions include adding spoilage mechanics, cleaning tasks, and more complex customer interactions (like angry customers) to enhance the simulation experience.
  • Progression Systems: Players desire a more robust progression system where they can start with a basic restaurant and upgrade over time, rather than beginning with a fully equipped establishment.

Summary

  • Overall, while "Fast Food Simulator" has garnered praise for its multiplayer fun and realistic fast-food experience, it faces criticism for its solo gameplay challenges and lack of certain features that could enhance player engagement and enjoyment.
