Feudal Alloy is a two-dimensional platformer. The game was developed by Attu Games, a Czech studio known from Toby: The Secret Mine.
The game takes us to a strange fantasy land inhabited by robots who instead of heads have aquariums with fish. One of them, Attu, is the main character. The hero's peaceful life comes to an end when his village becomes a target for bandits. After plundering oil supplies and setting fire to houses, the invaders go in search of more victims. Our robot decides to take revenge - he grabs the old sword and sets off in pursuit.
Feudal Alloy being metroidvania-type 2D platformer. Instead of a series of closed levels, we visit one large world with a partially open structure. Initially, some of the locations are not available and we can reach them only after we have acquired a specific skill or equipment.
The game focuses on exploration and combat. During the skirmishes we use many types of swords and grenades. We can also use a large set of attacks, special techniques, and evasions. In addition to standard opponents, Attu also has to deal with many powerful bosses. The game also features a few RPG elements. In the course of the game we slowly accumulate better equipment and armour, thus increasing the hero's combat potential.
The game is diversified by a dialogue system, which allows you to talk to the encountered NPCs. Moreover, in the game world, apart from missions related to the main plot, we can also find a lot of side tasks.
The strong point of Feudal Alloy is the visual side. The game offers attractive two-dimensional graphics maintained in cartoon style, whose main advantage are highly unusual character designs.
