Fire and Forget 2: The Death Convoy PC

The second installment of the Fire and Forget series will once again allow us to become the driver of a futuristic car equipped with a powerful machine gun. This time, however, the programmers of Titus Interactive decided to give up the possibility of choosing the arena in which we want to face the invaders. The game has a completely linear character and forces us to struggle on the road in a predetermined order.

Unlike the original, Fire and Forget 2: The Death Convoy was written with coin-op machines in mind, which had a significant impact on its visual setting. Finally, the game boasts nice, colorful VGA graphics, thanks to which it looks much better than the first installment of the cycle. However, this is not the end of the changes. Although fuel is still needed to drive, it disappears from the tank at a slower pace. The authors also decided to limit the number of additional "live", which we now have four. The other features of the original, such as fast driving on a winding track and annihilation of enemies with the use of the means of extermination built into the vehicle do not differ from what we saw during the first Fire and Forget. In order to complete the struggle at each stage, it is necessary to catch up with and destroy a huge tanker, which serves as a so-called "boss". Before this happens, however, we will have to eliminate ordinary opponents who move both on the road and in the air. The latter can be easily defeated by using rockets or transforming a vehicle into a deadly jet.

Despite its more attractive visuals, Fire and Forget 2: The Death Convoy is unfortunately not a better product than the original. The ride is not exciting, as there are only a small number of undifferentiated opponents on the route, which, in addition, do not pose a major challenge to the player. It is only at a later stage that the level of difficulty increases significantly, but until then the game can get bored.
