Fog of War PC

Fog of War is an FPS created for online battles. It is the work of Monkey’s Lab. studios and has been published by Neokosmos Technologies.

Plot

Fog of War show events of World War II, starting in 22nd July 1941, when Third Reich attacked the Soviet Union together with its allies. Players witness brutal battles between these two forces.

Game mechanics

Fog of War uses the typical first-person perspective (FPP) to present the world. The game focuses on multiplayer skirmished based on PvP rules, with players competing on vast maps of varied topography and buildings. Everything players do (like eliminating opponents, capturing strategic points, developing their soldiers or finishing daily tasks) earns them experience points which act as a currency used for buying new characters.

Unlocking new classes is important, as choosing a profession determines what weapons, special skills, and vehicles are available in battle. The latter include not only tanks, but also horses, trucks and off-road cars, while weapons are represented by sniper and assault rifles, pistols, and even anti-tank cannons.

Game modes

Along with multiplayer modes, Fog of War features options for lone players and those who want to enjoy the more cooperative experience.

Technical aspects

Fog of War uses Unreal Engine 4, thanks to which it has a decent quality visuals with destructible buildings. This is the case with audio as well, mainly due to sounds of shooting and explosions.
