Football Manager Mobile 2017 is a football management simulation game for AND and iOS. The production was developed by Sports Interactive, the creators of all previous installments of the series.

Mechanics

Football Manager Mobile 2017 for AND and iOS is another installment of the spin-off subseries of the Football Manager franchise, developed with smartphones and tablets in mind. It takes all basic elements of the series and presents them in a simplified form so that the gameplay is paced significantly faster.

In the game, we assume the role of a football club manager. The developers used official licenses so the virtual world is populated by actual clubs and footballers. Our task is obviously leading a club to success. To do so, we recruit promising talents and plan trainings for them. We also set tactics and team composition for matches.

Our responsibilities don’t end at the sports aspect. We also have to manage the financial aspect of the club, balance its budget, and make sure we have good relations with fans and the press.

Technical aspects

Football Manager Mobile 2017 was developed to run smoothly even on slower smartphones and mobile devices. The interface was designed with small touchscreens in mind, the gameplay simulation system is relatively simple, while the database is significantly limited in comparison with other installments of the series.
