"Futurebrighter" is an FPS game. The futuristic climate and the technical solutions proposed make this item to some extent resemble a mixture of such programs as "Half-Life" and "Unreal".
"Futurebrighter" is an FPS (first person perspective) game, created entirely by the Polish development group Heaven X, whose members took part in the work on "Chrome", "Indiana Jack" and "Xpand Rally". The futuristic climate and the technical solutions proposed make this item to some extent resemble a mixture of such programs as "Half-Life" and "Unreal".
The authors have focused all their efforts on the single player mode, which has twelve long and playable missions, which in a way rewards the lack of online gameplay options. All tasks are related to each other's main story, however, during their execution the player can, although not necessarily, perform side "miniquestions", discovering new, additional weapons and gadgets. The next stages were realized in such a way that each of them has three alternative solutions - just like in the game "True Crime: Streets Of L.A".
This position allows the player to play the role of Alex Carver, a blood and bone criminal. Our main character, with his skill in dexterity as well as the intelligence needed to solve logical puzzles, fights the enemy in distant corners of the cosmos, from a prison ship to a strange, very mysterious planet. The extensive equipment - including radars, sonars, first-aid kits and many types of weapons (with rocket launchers, plasma and a whole range of other tools at the forefront) - helps you to accomplish your next tasks and missions. The actual action starts when Alex is transported to another facility. Unexpectedly, a "prisoner" spacecraft is attacked by an unspecified opponent who, killing the guards and destroying the carrier, unknowingly releases the main character from captivity. From now on, a great battle begins between a "one-man army", controlled by the user, and the unfavorable troops of cosmic creatures, commanded by a demagogic ruler.
The original graphic engine "Magnum" by Heaven X, allowing to create environments both inside buildings and in open spaces, provides a nice and pleasing visual setting for this production. Hardware requirements, the fulfilment of which is tantamount to achieving smooth animation and good quality graphics, are relatively small - which is another plus of this production. "Futurebrighter" in our country is available in a complete, Polish language version.
