G-senjou no Maou - The Devil on G-String PC

G-senjou no Maou - The Devil on G-String is a thriller visual novel adventure game. It was developed by the Japanese studio Akabei Soft2.

Production debuted in Japan in 2007. This version contained occasional erotic scenes, which were removed by the English-language edition released in 2015 on Steam. However, players who own this edition can purchase a DLC add-on on Denpasoft's website that restores these removed scenes.

Plot

The main character of the game is a Japanese high school student named Kyosuke Azai. He is the adopted son of a local yakuza boss. However, the criminal did not look after the boy for free. When the boy grew older, he found out that because of this he owed a huge debt, which constantly grew. In order to pay it off, Azai starts a criminal career, running one of his protector's businesses. It soon turns out that the protagonist has a talent for it, thanks to his intelligence and ruthlessness, which makes him stop at nothing to make a good profit.

After a while, Kyosuke's growing criminal business brings him into conflict with a mysterious criminal known only as Mao (meaning Devil/Demon in Japanese). An intellectual duel begins between the two, the result of which may be the death of one of them. Azai is the less experienced fighter, but he has an ace up his sleeve - he meets a young girl named Haru Usami, who is somehow connected to Mao's past.

Our conversations and actions influence the course of the plot. Early decisions lead the scenario to one of four alternative paths, and then shape the course of each of them. This means that the game has to be completed several times to get to know everything it has to offer.

Technical aspects

G-senjou no Maou - The Devil on G-String features classic artwork for a game in this genre, made up mainly of static 2D images of characters and backgrounds. The audio setting, on the other hand, consists mostly of new arrangements of classical music.
