Hard Drivin' 2: The Harder Driver Harder is a refreshed and greatly enriched version of the famous car races that first appeared on coin-up machines from Atari in 1989.

The player plays the role of a sports car driver, racing with time on specially prepared routes (in this version there are as many as five of them, in addition, you can design your own using the editor attached to the program). Before starting the competition we only decide on the choice of gearbox (automatic or traditional), the program does not offer any other options. The routes are quite varied and allow you to race in different conditions. The whole is reminiscent of the Distinctive Software hit called Stunts. Both the representation of the world and most of the objects is very similar in Hard Drivin' 2: Driver Harder.

We have a certain amount of time for each section of the route. If we manage to reach the checkpoint before the checkpoint expires, we will get several dozen additional seconds. Hard Drivin' 2: Driver Harder never ends. We ride until we run out of time. Even crashes with other vehicles on the route do not have much influence on the action - in this case we watch a short repetition of the collision and again appear on the roadway.

As in the case of the original, the graphics are characterized by three-dimensional graphics composed of polygons (the authors have not tempted to make any improvements in this area). The number of objects (e.g. petrol stations, barns) on the screen at the same time does not impress, which makes the ride seem very monotonous. An additional disadvantage is the difficult control (also unchanged since the original times), which takes place with the mouse.
