Working in a supermarket can resemble a horror movie. All it takes is for us to get up on our left feet, for management to dump a ton of chores on us, and for the customers we like to line up at the checkout line to have a day straight out of a horror movie. However, Hellmart, a title that combines elements of a simulator and survival horror from independent studio Gaze in Games, is proof that things can always get worse.

Gameplay

In Hellmart, the action is viewed from a first-person perspective (FPP). The gameplay has been divided into three segments corresponding to three times of the day. We play the role of a supermarket employee located in a quiet town in the north, who has to work day, afternoon and night shifts. The choices we make along the way affect the fate of customers and the ending of the story.
