game release date for PC:
Herobound: Spirit Champion is a continuation of Herobound: First Steps. Behind the development of this production are the authors of the predecessor, i.e. Gunfire Games studio - a band founded in 2014 by former members of the now non-existent Vigil Games team, which provided two versions of the popular Darksiders series. Like its predecessor, the title went to the PC platform.
Knowledge of Herobound: First Steps is not required for playing Herobound: Spirit Champion. The game takes us to a fantastic world created by the spirits of the five elements - fire, earth, air, water and life. Each of them was cast into the rule of one of the five lands, which did not like the spirit of fire. He declared war on the others, depriving them of their power and taking over the domains guarded by them, where he placed his own guards. The world under his rule began to bend towards extinction, so a brave goblin - the hero in whom the players take on the role - set out to defeat the spirit of fire and restore the old order.
In Herobound: Spirit Champion, released on PC platform, the action is shown in isometric projection - however, we have the possibility to zoom in and look around the surroundings. As befits an adventurous action game, during the game we travel through various locations, solve puzzles (consisting mainly in manipulating switches and moving objects) and collect items - we talk about new types of weapons, as well as about elements of equipment necessary to push the action forward.
Real-time combat is also important - the key to success is avoiding attacks and combining blows into combinations, and from time to time it's also worth taking advantage of the bow.
Three-dimensional graphics of Herobound: Spirit Champion is maintained in cartoon style. The production was created with the goggles of virtual reality in mind and requires them to work.
