In Hostage: Rescue Mission (also known as Hostages), you must master a terrorist-occupied embassy, killing all enemies, and you'll gain the lifelong gratitude of the hostages. The operation consists of three separate parts. In the first of these you have to lead the members of the bumping group to the buildings designated by the commander. This is not easy, as the enemy constantly controls the surrounding area with headlights and if suspicious movements are noticed, it opens fire. Each of our commandos can count a dozen or so lead balls, but it is not immortal, so during the action you should avoid deadly headlights, hiding in buildings. When all three anti-terrorists are in the designated places, the second part of the operation takes place. A group of daredevils is dropped on the roof of the building, whose task is to descend on the line and enter through the windows. What are the snipers doing at that time? They liquidate enemies that appear in the windows and try to kill members of the second group. Once your soldiers are in the building, you will be in the final stage of extermination of terrorists and the gradual release of hostages.
Hostage: Rescue Mission offers simple but easy-to-read graphics and average music themes played using a PC Speaker. In this game, however, it is not the audiovisual setting that is the most important, but an addictive and adrenaline-raising action that requires as much speed in decision making as patience in waiting for the right moment of attack. A few levels of difficulty also make the game as easy as it is demanding and will certainly not get bored quickly.
