I SPY Spooky Mansion for Nintendo Wii is the next installment of the I SPY series, which has been published by Scholastics in the form of both illustrated books and video games since 1991. The 2011 series will celebrate its 20th birthday. The player has to solve numerous puzzles that he or she encounters on his or her way through characteristic places, such as a school or a haunted house.
The latter we visit in I SPY Spooky Mansion - a remake of the title published in 1999 on PCs and Macintosh computers. Trapped by a clever skeleton in a mysterious villa, we have to be quite intelligent when it comes to finding an escape route. It leads through a number of rooms, each of which hides a riddle to solve. The puzzles we have to face are as many as 33 and dealing with each of them will bring us one step closer to achieving our main goal - getting out of the house.
The action is observed from the perspective of the first person, and the mysterious villa itself has been reproduced in 3D graphics.
