Mechanics

Insiders is a third-person action-survival game in which we steer our ship, create upgrades and fight the microbes inhabiting the patient's body. The game has an open world, in which different organs act as biomes. In each of them we will find different resources to extract and different opponents. To improve our ship we need resources, which we can get by killing enemy microbes or digging them out of the body with lasers. To function our ship needs fuel and oxygen, so it is important to frequently replenish supplies.

Gaining enough resources allows the player to build bases, where various upgrades can be installed. There we can repair our vehicle, produce rare resources and teleport between other bases built by us. Exploring biomes, we can find wrecks of other ships, whose expeditions ended prematurely and tragically. In wrecks we can find better parts for our shuttle, for example stronger engines or more powerful weapons.

Game modes

In Insiders we play only solo.

Technical aspects

The game is characterized by a simple, but clear 3D graphic design. The game tries to reproduce the human anatomy quite faithfully. For example, while travelling through blood vessels we can observe flowing red blood cells.
