Production combining elements of endless runner and first person action game. In Into the Dead 2 we pass through various stages, bypassing enemies standing in front of us or eliminating them with the use of an extensive arsenal of white and firearms.
Into the Dead 2 is the second installment of the series initiated by PikPok in 2012. Like the first installment, the title combines elements of action and endless runner games.
The action of Into the Dead 2 starts when the main character suffers a car accident. The protagonist quickly discovers that the whole area is overrun by hordes of living corpses. From now on, his goal is to reach his family as quickly as possible.
Interestingly, the story has a non-linear course, and it depends on our actions which of the several endings we will reach.
The events in which we take part in Into the Dead 2 are shown from the eyes of the hero. Throughout the seven chapters, consising of sixty stages in total, we run, avoiding the zombies or confronting them with the use of a vast arsenal. The devs provided us with a variety of weapons – from melee weapons, through various pistols, to explosives - which we unlock and improve as we progress. It is important to watch out, as ammunition is a scarce commodity here.
On our way there are various adversaries - apart from standard "cannon fodder", which is not a big problem to overcome, in places such as oil fields, military bases, farms or camps, we face, among others, armored zombies and undead that are able to run quite fast.
Three-dimensional visuals of Into the Dead 2 show a decent level of quality. The dark atmosphere is created by gloomy stylistics, scarce colors and atmospheric soundtrack.

Game Ratings for Into the Dead 2 Video Game.
Thumb Culture: 4 / 10 by Jaz Sagoo
Into the Dead 2 is astoundingly expense for an auto-run game. There are two DLC packs, Ghostbusters and Night of the Living Dead, which look better than the base game however, these are available for an additional L4.49 each! The game’s core mechanic will most likely bore most people. It may appeal to the casual gamer and if you’re interested in the title then download the free to play mobile version as the Switch version is definitely not worth your time or money. This game needed to stay dead. I award the game a Thumb Culture Bronze Award.
Jack of All Controllers: 2.5 / 10 by Ryan Holler
If you’re going to play this game, I’d recommend simply trying the free mobile version out and making your decision based on that. It’s much better suited for that platform, anyhow. But I cannot personally recommend it on Switch, especially at its current price. With a bland and predictable story, poor presentation, and gameplay that just feels like nothing.
GameSpew: 6 / 10 by Richard Seagrave
Everyone else, however, is probably better off waiting until it’s discounted, otherwise they might feel as gone in the head as the shambling undead they’re killing time and time again.
