Iridium Runners are quite unconventional, futuristic races followed by Playstos Entertainment studio. Unconventional because the characters compete with each other running on their own feet - there is no question of using any vehicles. It should be emphasized that this is a low-budget title, sold at the moment of its premiere for half the price of a standard, new game on PlayStation 2.
Set in the year 2050, Iridium Runners allows players to compete in the ultimate marathon – one in which winning isn't necessarily a question of being the fastest runner. Special powers and weapons are on hand to make each race in the Iridium Championship an adrenaline-pumping battle for survival in this startlingly fresh take on the futuristic racing genre.
